物質に外部から様々な「入力」(電場、磁場、圧力、等々)を加えると、様々な「出力」(分極、磁化、歪み、等々)が得られます。この「入力」と「出力」をつなぐ「応答」物性は、この世のからくりを明らかにする重要な探針となるだけでなく、私たちの生活をより豊かなものにする有益な道具立てにもなり得ます。私たちの研究室では”個性的な”構造をもつ様々な物質を合成し、そこに潜む未知の「応答」物性を「広い温度領域」と「広い周波数帯域」で追求します。
